HARDWOOD FLOORING
Hardwood flooring is made of 100% real wood with no HDF, laminate or other artificial materials. It consists of several cross-stacked strips of wood that are more stable and resistant to humidity and moisture than solid wood floors. Unlike solid wood, hardwood doesn’t shrink or expand due to temperature and humidity changes. It also allows for longer and wider planks--providing not only a more desirable look, but also resistance to the bending or bowing that can occur with longer solid planks.

CERAMIC TILE
TILE

VCT
Vinyl composition tile (VCT) is designed for high-traffic areas, with flowing linear patterns, organic looks, and densely patterned earth tones vinyl tiles effectively mask scuffs and soil in busy commercial applications.
There are, however, several comparisons to be made between the two flooring solutions.
LVT is a hard surface flooring material comprised of 100% vinyl (which is what gives the flooring superior strength), a color or photographic film layer, and a protective wear layer. VCT, on the other hand, is a porous flooring option made up of a small amount of vinyl with limestone and other filler material.
